We will be upgrading the memory on servers powering some sites on our WordPress publishing platform on Saturday, August 16 between 12 a.m. and 4 a.m. PDT. The additional memory will boost site performance and help keep them online during malicious traffic from spammers and denial of service attacks (learn more: http://www.us-cert.gov/ncas/tips/ST04-015/ ).
During this maintenance window, we anticipate sites to be offline for up to 10 minutes as each server takes a few minutes to restart. If your site is impacted by this upgrade, you will see a message on your login page. We'll keep you posted on our progress here.
